Alan shares this about his basic beliefs:
I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. God sent Him to earth to die on the cross as the blood sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. Jesus is my Savior and I am trusting in Him for my salvation. The purpose and mission of the church is to proclaim the good news that Jesus died, He has risen, He is coming again; it is to make disciples and encourage and equip them to have a personal relationship with their Savior, Jesus Christ, and to go beyond the walls of the church to show the love of God to the community.
He has an extensive and varied background in ministry and shares this about his ministry journey:
I followed the calling of God out of high school into full time ministry and attended Bible college and seminary. I began my ministry in a rural agricultural community west of Phoenix, AZ. After 10 years there I became the pastor of a Baptist Church in Bisbee, AZ. After many years of ministry in Arizona, my family moved to Florida, and I did church planting, pulpit supply, and pastoral administration. I was the music minister at an Episcopal church in Longwood and a supply Pastor at a Nazarene church in Orlando, a pastor of a start-up church in Fanning Springs, an administrative assistant at the catholic church in Chiefland, a Bible study leader at a Presbyterian church in Williston, and before coming to Bronson UMC I was pastor of a Church of Christ for 4 years. God has led me to serve in a wide variety of ministries.
